To catch up: NaNoWriMo was a disaster for me thanks to a two-week stomach flu. I’m back in the U.S.A. and made it home in time for Christmas. My deployment went well. I’ll probably talk more about it later because I want to focus on 2012.
2012. This is the year the Mayan calendar ends or starts over. This year humanity meets its doom, awakens to a new higher consciousness or, more likely, continues on as it always has for thousands of years. I’ve got my fingers crossed for higher consciousness.
It’s also New Year’s Day which means resolutions. There really isn’t anything new I’d like to do. I think last year’s resolutions were pretty solid and I met most of them, or at least tried. I’m going to try writing every day again.
This year’s goal: Sell a short story. Nothing lofty there, just a small achievable goal.
